Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)

Despite some decent moments, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers is an unfocused, confused, and uninteresting slasher.

Though lacking in a rich story and deep characterization, Terrifier is an excellent throwback to 80s slasher films.

Like the last two films, Venom: The Last Dance has some decent performances and fun action but a lackluster story and dull characters.

While it suffers from some of the first film’s flaws, Smile 2 is a vast improvement with stronger characters and more effective scares.

The Substance is a modern masterpiece thanks to great performances, a cleverly wicked story, and a mix of satire and body horror.
