The Mutilator (1984)

While it’s got some gruesome kills and a catchy, if out of place, theme song, The Mutilator is a pretty formulaic slasher film.

With a captivating performance from Mia Goth and a mix of drama and violence, Pearl perfectly compliments X and works on its own.

Despite some ambitious effects and a decent cast, Coneheads fails as a comedy due to its abysmal jokes and dull story.

While not as strong as the first two entries, A Quiet Place: Day One is a decent prequel elevated by its leading actors.

While not as fresh as the original, Inside Out 2 expands on what made the first film work to deliver a compelling story about growing up.
