Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982)

While most of the characters and kills are pretty run-of-the-mill, Friday the 13th Part 3 is still a fun slasher with some goofy 3D effects.

While it doesn’t do much to differentiate itself from the original, Friday the 13th Part 2 builds off what made that first film work.

In spite of its bad acting, haphazard direction, and generally goofy tone, Don’t Go in the Woods is still worth watching for slasher fans.

While clearly taking influence from better movies, Absurd still provides plenty of gruesome deaths for any splatter fan.

Though lacking in strong characters or an interesting story, Bloody Moon makes up for it with some gruesome deaths and a sinister atmosphere.

With a foreboding atmosphere, solid direction, and decent acting, The Funhouse is an underrated gem from a master of horror.

Though lacking a memorable cast of characters, The Prowler still works thanks to a memorable killer, solid direction, and amazing effects.

While light on story and characters, and clearly copying other films, The Burning still boasts a memorable villain and some gruesome deaths.
